“PHOENIX”, thebird reborn anew from her own ash, is the inspiration theme of Amelia Ursache’s autumn/winter 10 collection.
Gracious and vulnerable in appearance, but strong and firm inside herspirit, the woman symbolizing the firebird, has the invincible power toovercome all barriers in life, the unexpected resources to arise herself and togo on with her flight.
Thru a rock-glamorous style, mixing a scale of luxury avant-gardefabrics, Amelia´s new creations enlighten a heroic, but very sensualsilhouette, full of mystery.
The contrasts, always present in her collections, are not between thecolors this season, but between the effects of tissues inthe same tone: jacquards, art leather, lace and hand-printed wool.
The classical is deconstructed and enhancedby innovative draping and pleats, since the are distinguished by their asymmetrical cuts, pointed shoulders,tubular collars and definite waste.
